IE PERFORMANCE TUNING FOR AUDI TTRS 8S (2016+) 2.5T

IE’s Performance Tune for TTRS packs a punch both in performance gains and in additional features. The end result is not only high performing software but a performance solution that does it safely! IE’s calibration engineers have taken several steps to ensure the smooth and safe operation by maintaining factory safety limits, or “fail safes”, resulting in reliability. As a final step, the software has been calibrated in test environments that ensure smooth operation in all types of climates and elevations.

AVAILABLE TUNES

IE STAGE 1
The IE Stage 1 ECU Tune is precisely calibrated to make the most of your stock Audi TTRS. Power gains are delivered smoothly across the entire powerband and many performance features have been added. Enthusiasts will have the choice between several fuel octanes (91, 93, 100, 104) and the ability to flash back to stock within minutes. As another added benefit the IE Stage 1 Tune has been designed to adapt to minor bolt-on modifications, such as an intercooler or intake 

IE STAGE 2
Our Stage 2 ECU tune is designed for matching bolt-on hardware for when you are ready to release every last ounce of power from your stock turbo 2.5T engine. Stage 2, when matched with performance downpipe, intake, and intercooler, will deliver up to 577BHP and  592BTQ delivering record-breaking power and the ability to run 10's in the quarter mile (location and conditions depending)! You have your choice of pump fuel octanes 91, 93, 100, and 104. If you're real power hungry, Stage 2 also includes ethanol fuel E60-E85. Get ready to experience the true power monster that has been hiding under the hood of your 8S TTRS.

Note on Stage 2 Ethanol File: 
The stage 2 optional ethanol file is for use with full ethanol E60-E85. E85 is recommended for the highest power output, however, our tune offers you many safeguards to run lower ethanol such as E60, E70, E75, etc... This flexibility offers you to safely fill up at the pump on a single tune. During development, testing showed that many pumps advertising E85 came back lower than advertised and some states offering ethanol did not offer full E85 or above. Your tune will safely moderate ethanol between E60 through E85 only when the IE ethanol file is loaded to your ECU. 

IE POWERlink DIRECT PORT FLASH TOOL

IE's own in-house developed POWERlink cable gives you the control to unlock your engine’s true potential from your own garage or driveway. Enjoy the freedom to quickly reflash your car’s engine control unit (ECU) or transmission control unit (TCU) with IE’s line of performance tunes. The cable simply plugs into your vehicle’s OBD-2 port delivering instant access to choose different IE Tune stages to match installed hardware, take advantage of different fuel octanes, flash back to stock, perform engine diagnostics, read/clear codes and gather high-quality operating data via logging.

EASY OPERATION
Simply plug your IE POWERlink cable into your TTRS’s OBD-II port and the USB port on your Windows-powered laptop to use the included IE Flash Wizard software.

IE FLASH WIZARD SOFTWARE

IE's own easy to use Flash Wizard Software allows the IE POWERlink Tool to communicate with your vehicle's ECU to flash software tunes, upgrade, update, data log, or read/write codes. The software download is included with your tune/cable purchase and operates on any Windows 7+ powered laptop or tablet. The software is very simple to use and once installed will walk you through the fast tuning process to deliver instant horsepower. 

TECHNICAL FEATURES

DYNOMETER OPTIMIZED
After completely reverse engineering the factory ECU, our engineers use our in-house Dynapack DP42 dynamometer to perform repeated runs to test each change that is made to the software and confirm drivability in any situation. This ensures IE performance software delivers massive horsepower and torque increases across the entire powerband. Using our in-house dyno and advanced tuning tools, IE engineers have fully optimized every aspect of the factory ECU mapping on many different vehicles. This produces a tune that retains all factory like driving and safety protocols when needed, and an intense surge of power when you want it.

REMOVED SPEED LIMITER
The factory ECU speed limiter has been removed to make sure the increased power and torque can be used to its full potential on straightaways and drag strips.

INCREASED REV LIMIT
With the significant power increase, the rev limiter is also increased to allow a wider powerband on all IE Audi TTRS files. By increasing the rev limit, you gain a perfect match for the increased performance available from your new IE performance software tune.

IMPROVED THROTTLE RESPONSE
To further increase the responsive feel of the car, IE engineers have carefully adjusted the throttle sensitivity. This offers a more connected feeling to your car with plenty of power available right beneath your foot.

OPTIMIZED FUELING
All IE tunes have been adjusted to run as economically as possible, dialing in air/fuel ratios to exactly where they need to be. With an IE performance ECU flash, it is common to see increased fuel economy under cruising and part-throttle driving.
