DESCRIPTION

Manley Performance’s Q60 and Q50 VR30 Pro Series I-Beam Turbo Tuff Rods are forged from 4340 aircraft quality vacuum degassed material. After the machining is complete the Pro Series I-Beam Turbo Tuff Rods are shot peened to a MIL specification and 100% individually magnafluxed.

Manley Performance’s Q60 and Q50 VR30 Pro Series I-Beam Turbo Tuff Rods are specifically designed to handle high horsepower applications when using turbos and/or nitrous. The flywheel horsepower rating for the 4340 I-Beam Turbo Tuff Rods in a 6 cylinder application is +1,250 HP!*

*You will see that we list “horsepower ratings” for each different series/application of Manley connecting rods. However, it is very important to understand that these “ratings” are somewhat subjective. The critical factors that significantly influence the fatigue life of connecting rods (and the horsepower rating) are RPM, stroke, piston weight and power adders. In certain cases, our horsepower ratings may be conservative.
