Audi ZF8 Automatic Transmission Service Kit

If you own an Audi that is equipped with the ZF8 automatic transmission you may have been wacked with the "lifetime fluid" gimmick. What Audi means by this is the fluid is expected to last the lifetime of the actual transmission which will result in a shorter life span without servicing. FCP Euro strongly recommends you service your ZF8 transmission every 40-50K miles to extend your transmissions life expectancy and to restore performance!

Note: To perform this service you will need a scan tool that has the capability to read the transmissions temperature. We recommend any Audi enthusiast to own a Ross-Tech scan tool found HERE! that has that capability and much more.

ATTENTION!

To perform this service you will need to lower your front subframe to gain access to the transmission pan bolts. When you lower your subframe there is a chance the alignment can be out of spec causing a loss in handling performance. We STRONGLY recommend performing an alignment after performing this repair.

• Subframe Mount Bolt Kit RS5, RS5 Sportback

You will also need to remove the transmission tunnel crossmember to gain access to the transmission pan bolts. The hardware used to install the transmission tunnel crossmember can be reused.
