Dodson Motorsport DSG Sportsman's Plus Clutch Kit

Dodson Motorsport is a world renowned provider of high performance transmission components. Dodson offers a complete clutch upgrade kit for Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, and Skoda vehicles equipped with the DQ250 DSG or S Tronic transmission. These vehicles include the Volkswagen MK5, MK6, MK7, GTI and Jetta as well as the MK5 R32 and MK6, MK7 Golf R. Audi vehicles include the MK2 TT and TTS as well as the 8P A3, S3 and the 8V A3, S3. Seat vehicles include the Seat Leon and Cupra and Skoda includes the Octavia and vRS models.

 

If you are serious about making horsepower and torque in your vehicle look no further. Each Dodson Motorsport’s Sportsmans Plus kit includes all components needed for installation. Included in each kit are both small and large friction discs already pre-assembled in its core, small and large steel plates, assortment of shims, and installation alignment tool. The included friction discs are constructed of a propriety material that increases the DSG or S Tronic transmission’s power capacity without sacrificing drivability or reliability. Equally important are the included steel plates. The steel plates install between the friction discs and allow power to be transferred through the transmission and to the wheels. The included shims are used during the installation to get the proper clutch stack height and are critical for proper operation. 

 

 

With a torque capacity of over 550 ft/lbs of torque the Dodson Sportmans Plus Kit is a must have if you plan to upgrade your vehicle to a K04 turbocharger or Stage 3 turbo kit. The Dodson clutch system will not only hold the increased horsepower and torque from an upgraded turbocharger but it will also handle the abuse that comes with track days. Whether you drag race, road race, autocross, roll race, or street race you can be confident your DSG or S Tronic transmission will not slip even under the harshest race conditions.
