Three inches of lift in every ride-height mode, with the Rivian's air suspension still doing everything it did from the factory. Direct Current Engineering spent more than a year developing and testing this system on-road and off-road, with one goal: an OE-quality lift with minimal compromise that still fits in a residential garage.
Now available for the R1S Quad Motor and R1T Quad Motor with the fabricated front subframe. Cast front subframe support and other Rivian configurations are coming soon.
Every ride mode, three inches higher
The Rivian lets you choose a ride height from the infotainment screen. The DCE Lift System keeps every one of those modes. It raises each mode by 3 inches and doesn't reduce the air suspension's travel.
Tire wear, component life, ground clearance and range were all priorities through development. We tried several approaches before settling on the final design.
New adjustable upper control arms
This is much more than spacers and bolts. We engineered a new set of adjustable upper control arms that keep stock-like geometry at the spindle and wheel camber. They also keep the factory ride-height sensor in its stock position, so the gap between each ride mode stays the same. The arms pivot on race-spec FK uniballs and rod ends.
Built to last off-road
Every component in the kit is powder-coated steel, powder-coated or hard-anodized aluminum, or stainless steel, so the system holds up to mud, water, road salt and years of use.
More clearance and armor where it counts
The lift raises the entire battery 3 inches higher off the ground and adds 3 inches of clearance to the approach angle. That means more room before you high-center on the most important and most expensive part of the vehicle, and that's before counting the extra height a larger tire adds. The kit also includes dedicated skid plates that replace the factory plates over the drive-motor subframes, and they're designed to fit the factory front and rear bumpers and aprons. Just like our other Rivian skid plates, the main plates are 1/4-inch 5052-H32 aluminum, with an 11-gauge (0.120") cold-rolled steel plate over the differential/motor for maximum impact resistance where it matters most. Everything is finished in a textured black powder coat. They're stronger than stock but still lightweight, and they're angled to deflect hits from rocks and obstacles.
Room for bigger tires
The added clearance fits a 36" tire, and a bigger tire adds even more clearance on top of the lift. A 37" tire fits with trimming, in Standard and higher ride modes only.

Fitment
Rivian R1S Quad Motor and R1T Quad Motor, Gen 1 and Gen 2, with the fabricated front subframe. Cast front subframe support is coming soon, along with other Rivian configurations.
Installation
Installation requires a bleed of the factory suspension hydraulic system, which takes Rivian service equipment. Have it done at a Rivian Service Center or one of the many Rivian-certified body shops that have the right equipment.
