The Textar DOT 4 ESP Low viscosity (LV) is an advanced low viscosity brake and clutch fluid based on the latest borate ester technology formulated for use with modern braking systems. Electronic Stability Program (ESP) systems require the brake fluid to flow quickly through very small orifices if the system to function is to function correctly and in colder climates this requires the use of a low viscosity fluid.

Most European vehicle manufacturers now recommend DOT 4 LV fluids.

Textar products are produced to standards beyond what would be normal. For example, this product has a minimum dry and wet boiling point of 260°C and 165°C respectively, greatly exceeding the DOT 4 minimums of 230°C / 155°C. This amounts to extra user safety and potentially product life.
