TRE (Team Rip Engineering) Evo 7/8/9 5-speed transmission oil cooler adapter plate offers improved oiling, improved cooling and a high-power magnet to collect metal fragments and contaminants in the oil.

Available in 4 anodized colors and includes 6 new stainless install bolts, 1 o-ring installed and 1 extra oring.

The factory Evo 5-Speed transmissions struggle with inadequate oiling of 4th gear. Because of this, the gear is prone to overheating and failing.;

By replacing the existing access panel with this new oil cooler adapter plate, you are putting oil exactly where it needs to be and adding an oil cooler to protect from overheating failure. It even offers a neodymium trash magnet to keep metal out of the oil.

Notes:
• O-Ring seal for easy removal and reseal
• High-strength magnet pulls particles out of the oil
• Make sure thread holes are completely free of sealant
• Make sure the surface is flat or simply use Permatex Ultra Grey
• Tighten bolts by hand, about 3.75 ft lbs or 45 inch pounds (about the same as the valve cover bolts)
