OVERVIEW

This kit provides all necessary connections from the top of the fuel tank to the OEM hard lines at the rear of the vehicle. NOTE: Custom hoses and fittings will need to be purchased and constructed separately to run larger lines all the way to the engine and back.

From the pump outlet, a short 8AN PTFE fuel line runs just behind the pump hanger and down underneath the fuel tank. Right there are 2 different types of fitting connections at the OEM hard line. As shown below, early models use an inverted flare fitting.

Later models use an SAE quick connect, as shown below. Both adapters for these connections are included in this kit.

When returning fuel comes back from the OEM FPR, it travels through an OEM barbed hard line that terminates just underneath the fuel tank. A short rubber hose is provided that adapts to 6AN. From here, a 6AN PTFE hose routes to the return port on the pump hanger.

Four aluminum spacers, new mounting screws, and thicker adhesive foam are provided to permit the (RH) OEM fuel tank access cover to clear the larger fuel lines.
