This product was originally created for a boat club member who couldn't hard mount their GPS/fish finder because they get a different boat every time they go out (and the club gets pissed if you drill into their consoles). The solution was to mount a SeaSucker to it, but we took it a step further by designing a perfectly-mated platform to transition from the bottom of the Garmin's plastic base to the top of a 4.5" SeaSucker.

To use, all you have to do is make the connection with four screws (included).

The Garmin mount is not included - that should have been included with the unit.
