Spulen Transmission Mount- Audi B5 A4/S4

The factory transmission mount found on the Audi A4/S4 vehicles was not developed with performance in mind. Constructed of pocketed rubber and cast aluminum, the factory mount allows the transmission to move excessively during hard acceleration and driving. This excessive movement is responsible for the clunking noises and “slop” felt in the drivetrain during shifting and changes in acceleration.

In order remove excessive movement, Spulen designed a billet aluminum mount complete with a polyurethane bushing. The billet aluminum mount is precision CNC'd and then hard anodized black for durability. The included polyurethane bushing is made of 75A polyurethane, providing the perfect balance of stability without increasing cabin vibration. Once installed, drivetrain movement is reduced and clunking noises are eliminated.
