The ultra-compact spring discs were designed to increase clutch capacity in order to maintain high initial torque. The spring discs also have a variable spring rate construction in order to minimize warping and maximize longevity even after hard driving or extended use.

The TOMEI L.S.D. utilizes 16 high quality friction disks to ensure that power and torque is transmitted to rear wheels in a smooth manner to allow for precise vehicle control and the ultimate driving experience.

The new and improved Tomei ADVANCE DISC allows for a quieter and more refined driving experience. Unlike other L.S.D.s, the Tomei L.S.D. is offers greater stability during throttle transitions. It eliminates loud clunking noises, making it a highly streetable yet aggressively tuned L.S.D.


1.5WAY / 2WAY

1.5 WAY

The 1.5 way L.S.D. locks up during during acceleration and unlocks during deacceleration. This allows for a more natural feeling under hard braking.

2 WAY

The 2 way L.S.D. locks up on both acceleration and deacceleration. This allows for more precise control of the car using the throttle, which is very beneficial for drifiting.

GEAR OIL INCLUDED

The L.S.D. kit will come with 2 liters of GL-5 80w-90 TOMEI hypoid L.S.D. gear oil. This oil must be used in conjunction with the TOMEI Technical Trax L.S.D. unit. When using the TOMEI Technical Trax L.S.D. with another brand or grade gear oil, the L.S.D. may make a louder chattering sound and increase the wear of the L.S.D. which may result in a decreased life span of the L.S.D. Gear oil with higher viscosity and higher pressure type lubricants may also increase the chattering noise of the L.S.D.
