Your M3 or 1M has a set of unique control arms that differe from standard 1 series or 3 series control arms. In addition to these control arms having an influence on handling they also have an effect on front tire camber which is a critical factor in handling performance as well. If your M3 or 1M doesn't feel as tight anymore it could be due to worn bushing or play in the ball joints. This basic 4-piece kit will replace the front tension struts and lower control arms. This kit also includes tie rod assemblies and steering rack boots to further complement the front control arm refresh.

We recommend replacing all of your components if you have in excess of 80K miles and still have original components. We also encourage that you replace your control arm components if you are experiencing the following symptoms:

• Popping, clunking, or clicking sounds while traveling over bumps or dips in the road
• A disconnected feeling between the steering wheel and front end of the car
• Vehicle is slow to respond to steering inputs
• Vehicle wanders on the highway or will not drive straight
• Vehicle cannot be aligned properly due to play in front suspension
