This basic control arm kit is the ideal repair solution if your E9X M3 or 1M has worn tension struts you already know how much your handling has been compromised. The tension strut is a critical suspension component and is responsible for essentially "locating" the front suspension. The inner mount bushing is a notorious failure point that can cause a series of unwanted side effects when it fails. Additionally, the outer ball joints are also known to develop play.

If the front end of your M3 or 1M has developed a sloppy feeling or you can hear knocking or popping sounds while turning we highly recommend inspecting the suspension and identifying which components are worn.
