Replaces all front control arms in a convenient kit comprised of Meyle HD tension struts and Meyle lower wishbones
Your E38's front suspension is comprised of numerous individual pieces. The tension struts and the lower wishbones essentially build the foundation of the front suspension. The two areas where they components have been notorious for wear is tension strut hydro bushing failure and outer ball joint failure. Worn bushings and ball joints are normal on a higher mileage BMW. Afterall, the suspension takes the abuse from the road. If you have more than 80,000 miles on your E38 and still have the original control arms you should consider replacing all control arms.
