BMW 8-Piece Control Arm Kit - E46CAKITMY

A complete front control arm kit including lower wishbones, tie rod assemblies, control arm bushings, and sway bar links

This kit put together in house by FCP has been designed to address all of the common wear items of the E46 chassis. The Meyle components in this kit are redesigned from the original factory pieces to be more durable and reliable in the long run. The following upgrades have been made to these components:

• Steel ball joints (can be replaced individually)
• Reinforced ball joint mounting points
• Reinforced aluminum control arm
• Thicker sway bar links with larger ball joints
• Solid, 66mm rubber control arm bushings with revised internal design

We highly recommend replacing these components if your E46 has more than 80K miles and still has original factory components. Some tell tale signs that indicate the original components need replacing include:

• Popping, clunking, or clicking sounds while traveling over bumps and dips in the road
• A general "disconnected" feeling from the road
• Slow or poor steering input response
• Car wanders on the highway or will not drive straight on a flat road
• Car cannot be properly aligned due to worn components

We recommend this kit to the performance enthusiast who drives hard as the upgraded components will provide better road feel and steering feedback. We also recommend this kit to customers who have an already modified suspension and use a cup or coil over suspension kit.
