This dual mass flywheel is made by LuK, an OEM supplier to BMW. Duel mass flywheels are a wear item and should be replaced with every clutch job. Unlike other types of flywheels it is not possible to machine a dual mass unit. Failure to replace your flywheel when completing a clutch job can result in extra vibrations and harshness that would otherwise not be felt.
