OVERVIEW

This is a dual pump add-on to the fuel hanger listed above. It includes another 'independent' collector specific for pump 2. The architecture of the Corvette fuel tank is very unique. Because the opening is so small, 2 pumps cannot fit through at the same time. Each pump is sent into the tank one by one. The use of SAE quick connectors makes the installation process much easier.

Both fuel pumps outlets merge into the single 10AN ORB outlet of the CNC machined fuel hat. And because of the check valves on the pump outlets, fuel pump staging is permitted. The provided in-tank wiring is insulated with high quality chemically resistant ETFE. 

NOTE: Part number 20-1010 must be purchased to use this add-on.

Choosing the best fuel pump is based on the expected engine power output, fuel type (gasoline, E85, etc.), and fuel pressure.

⁽¹⁾These pumps do not feature an integrated check valve. Provided in this kit is a high flow check valve that secures to the outlet of these specific pumps.

FUEL STARVATION PROTECTION

Several mechanisms work together to move fuel into the integrated collector and keep it full at all times. This ensures the pump has adequate fuel available, even during aggressive driving. The internal pump is supplied with fuel from 2 different sources:
1. The consistent crossover fuel scavenged from the passive side of the fuel tank. NOTE: The fuel return from the fuel pressure regulator will still feed the pump 1 collector.
2. The two 1-way fill valves on the bottom of the collector that allow fuel in, but not out. Each 1-way valve flows 355LPH keeping the collector as full as the current fuel tank level.
