Save space on your dash and provide a clean look with AutoMeter’s Electronic Tach/Speedo Combo. Taking the highly precise circuits from the individual speedometer and tach and combining them into one unit gives you the accuracy and the response time you need and the convenience of a one piece solution. Compatible with nearly any factory speed sender and 1-12 cylinder applications, this unit is simple to calibrate and designed with the type of durability you expect in an AutoMeter gauge. AutoMeter’s GPS Speed Sender is also compatible for an easy, plug and play solution.
Feature Points
Modern white LED through-the-dial lighting provides clear visibility during nighttime use
Gauge kit includes mounting hardware, and installation instructions
Speedometer is compatible with most two wire sine wave and three wire hall effect vehicle speed sensors. Speedometer can be easily calibrated using the trip reset button on the from of the unit and a premeasured two mile distance. No dip switches!
Tachometer is compatible with 0.5 - 6 pulse ignition signals (1-12 cylinder engines) with points, electronic, and most 12V high-performance racing ignitions.
Reprogram at any time to accommodate changes in gear ratio or wheel and tire combination with a simple push button, 2 mile drive calibration.

Guys, I am unable to get the speedo to work. i purchased the kit with the other quad guage set, The speedo came with the electronic sensor, I push the button start engine its goes full sweep, i follow all the directions to calibrate the speedo and no go

I want to install this in a vehicle i am doing an LS3 swap. I have a stand alone harness, a 2006 GM 5.3, and the 4L60E trans. Do i need another other adapters, interface, resistors, etc to make the speedometer and tach work properly? Thanks

Hello Trevin. The LS equipped truck applications: Pin #10 of the red or green PCM connector (it will be either red or green, it will not have both). Not all trucks will have a tach signal wire. Please email service@autometer.com if you have additional questions on the installation.

Is this compatible with 1979 cj7?

Thank you for the question. The 1291 fits into a 4-5/8" diameter hole. I believe the CJ features a much larger hole. If you were able to adapt it to the vehicle, you will need an electronic speed sensor to drive it. Our 5291 should work on 1979 CJ if the cable output is in place on the transmission.

I’m looking for a meter like this for a motorcycle. Prefer in Km/h and a higher rpm on Tach. Also is it available with signal, hi beam and neutral indicators?
