If I understand correctly, this goes over the existing grab handle trim piece? If so, would this work for a 2014 Ram 2500? Looking to add a gauge to monitor egts

You are correct, this lays on top of the existing pillar, and it will fit your 2014 Ram.

Thank you for your question. You will need to use abs plastic paint in order to get the color needed as the pod does come tan.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, this will not work with a '08 Dodge. Between the '08 and '10 model years, the A-Pillar changed enough that this will not be compatible.

So this mount mounts on top of the existing dodge pillar/grab handle?

Hi Douglas, thank you for the question. The 13117 Single Pillar/Pod does fit over your existing pillar and you will retain your grab handle. Once you move to the dual or triple gauge pillar, these are full replacements pillars that won't retain the handle.

Thank you for the question. I believe the Dodge Ram has a handle that is part of the A-pillar, but this is designed to mount just below the handle, which will allow you to retain the grab handle.

Hi there, thank you for the question. Yes, the Dodge Ram Short Pillar for the 2010-2018 should fit your Laramie. We mold it in the factory tan/beige color, but it is paintable if you have a grey or charcoal interior. Just be sure to use an ABS plastic safe interior style paint.

Hi Larry, thank you for the question. We understand the cab on the 5500 to be the same as the 2500 and 3500, which means the 13117 Gauge Pod should work for you.
