What gauge wire is recommended for this tachometer? You say add 1 amp fuse, so I'm assuming 18 gauge would work.

Standard 16 or 18 gauge wire would work fine.

I HAVE A 2000 DODGE NEON 2.0L. WILL THIS WIRE DIRECTLY TO COIL PACK 12 SUPPLY OR DO I NEED THE TACH ADAPTER?

A Ford V10 will require a special order 5 pulse per rev tachometer. Not all tachometers are capable of being built this way. Please give us a call or email us at service@autometer.com for options.

Directions say to use a 1 amp fuse. I'm having trouble finding any locally that will fit my mini blade fuse panel. There are plenty of 2 amp available. Would it be o.k. to use a 2 amp instead of a 1 amp fuse?

Thank you for your question. You can connect the signal wire from any of our tachometers to the negative side of the coil. Cost will depend on which unit you choose.
