What gauge wire is recommended and what size connectors should be used at gauge and 990344 sensor.

Do you offer a dual station sender for your marine gauges or is there an alternate method to wire two gauges to a single temperature sender?

Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, there would be no way to read both gauges at the same time off a single sender, but you could switch between gauges with a low contact resistance switch and read one at time.

I am purchasing the Auto Meter Marine Oil Tempature Gauge 200764-35. It says it requires a 990344 sensor. Will be using Auto Meter #2257 m12X1.75 to 1/8-27 adaptor. Is there a longer sensor that will work with this gauge. Like #2385

Hi Jack, thank you for contacting us. If you're planning to use an M12 adapter, you'll want to use the 2259 shallow depth sensor, which you can see here:

This is very commonly used on LS engines in which the cylinder head port is M12x1.5, but holds true for any M12 bushing. Hope this helps!

How long is sensor 990344. If this is short is there a longer 1/8-27 ntp sensor that works with auto meter Marine 200764-35

Hi Jack, thank you so much for contacting us. The overall length of the sending unit is 1.72", with about 1/2" of that being the probe that extends beyond the threads. We also have our 2259 sending unit which ends right at the end of the threads (no protruding probe) which would work for applications in which you require a bit more internal clearance:
