Putting a stroked 1.9 cc (2.2) in my 1983.5 VW Vanagon Westfilia. Going to have a long run back to the coil. Will this tachometer work in my westy?

Thank you for contacting us. The 2303 uses a standard incandescent bulb, but we include red and green light filters in the kit as a color option.

Thank you for your question. This tachometer uses bulb p/n 2382. It is a T3 2.6w wedge style bulb.

Thank you for your question. Yes, that is normal. The pointer will go to zero once power is applied to the tach. Without power the pointer can rest anywhere.
