excellent tacho
got this tacho in Italy from another vendor - I had it on my car for many years. It is an excellent tacho, steady and precise. Fit wonderfully my 1958 V8 mopar - I'm buying a new one because I broke mine accidentally. My only critic is the light is too weak for my old eyes.

I just install on a fj40 with sbc, like to move it to the side of steering wheel do you have a rotating pedestal that will fit this tach.

There is no way for the consumer to take this tach apart. You may send it for service.

2306, would like to mount in steering column, 90 degrees. Do you have a rotating pedestal that will fit this tach. Thank you

Unfortunately mounting options are limited for this tachometer. It cannot swivel, and must be mounted on top of the dash or steering column.

Recently purchased this tach. I do like it, but I am disappointed that the light only shines over the "3" location. The rest of the tach face is dark. Is this normal?

I received my 2306 today, have not install ,, still in the box and the pointer is at 1, will it move to 0 ones it powers up or should I return to vendor. Thank you

This is normal. The pointer will move to zero when power is applied.

Hi, I would like to install tachometer 2306 in to my Mustang 1966 8 cylinder with Mallory Promaster Classic Coil 29440. Green wire on negative pole of Mallory coil - would that work ? Thank you.

The 2306 should work fine connected to the negative side of the Promaster coil.

I AM LOOKING FOR A TACHOMETER TO INSTALL ON AN 5.9 CUMMINS ENGINE. THAT USES A MAGNETIC SENSOR LIKE ST269510. I WANT TO MOUNT THE SENSOR TO READ OFF THE FRONT DAMPENER AND HOOK TO A TACHOMETER THAT WORKS WITH A MAGNETIC SENSOR.

Is the tachometer compatible with a Pertronix ignition ?

We can tell you that Pertronix Ignitions tend to be electrically "noisy". It is always likely that any of our tachometers will be very erratic when connected to this ignition.

This tachometer cannot be rotated in its mount. Check the 2891 for complete rotation:
