Yes, the bracket is fully removable and the tach can be rotated 360 degrees within the strap/bracket.

I have the 233902/6 memory tach, and was wondering if it can be retrofitted with an external shift light. I noticed shift point can be set using the 2 button method?

Yes, you would be able to attach a shift light to your tach. Something like the 5334 would be ideal

Thank you for your question. This tachometer uses a T1-3/4 wedge based LED bulb. You can purchase one of the colored ones we offer or use any other t1-3/4" led bulb you may have.

I bought this tach and was trien to set it for a 4cylinder, by holding the button to set for the pulses and nothing is happening. The tach only going to 4k when running car. Can you help me?

Hi Aaron, thank you for the question. Yes, the 233902 features shift light functionality, but does not include the light. It is compatible with our many add-on light options like 5330, 5332, and 5334.

Hi JD, thank you for the question. This specific model 233902 does not come with a shift light, but is compatible with our many add-on light options like 5330, 5332, and 5334. To set the shift light press both buttons at the same time while in the normal operation mode to initiate the Shift Light Set mode. The Shift Light Set mode will be identified by the shift light flashing on briefly twice per second. The pointer will display the current shift light set point. Press and hold the top button to scan upwards (clockwise). Press and hold the bottom button to scan downward (counter-clockwise). A brief tap on either button will cause the pointer to move slightly in the appropriate direction for fine tuning the shift
point. The gauge will return to Normal Operation by simply not touching either button for 5 seconds.
