On my 1993 Ford Mustang GT where do i hook up the green tach wire to?
1
answer
Answer this Question
Sarah from AutoMeter · 3 years ago
On your coil you should have a tan wire with a yellow stripe. That would be the negative side of the coil. Unless you had something aftermarket like an MSD box. Then you’d hook the green wire to the tach output on the box

Will this work on a 1999 4.6 northstar.
1
answer
Answer this Question
Jim from AutoMeter · 5 years ago
Thank you for your inquiry. This tach should work on your Northstar engine. The tach signal is found at the white wire at Pin 28 off the C2 (Clear) connector at your Engine Control Module. Like most GM engine speed signals, this will be a 2 pulse per revolution signal.
