Thank you for your question. The mounting bracket is is 9-1/8" long, 3" tall, and 1" deep at the widest point.

What is the difference between #3 or #4 braided stainless? Which is better for this application?

#3 Hose is a smaller diameter. It is easier to work with and I would certainly advise it over #4 in this application.

What is the length of the temperature probe? Will I have to get a different gauge if its too short?

This temperature gauge comes with a 6 foot capillary tube. If you need something longer than that you would need to go with a different gauge. There is no way to extend the capillary tube.

We do make trans temp gauges. Unfortunately they are not in the Auto Gage line. Here is an example:

The 3235 Braided Hose Kit will work with the oil pressure gauge in this kit using the 1/8" NPT adapter included with the hose kit.

The part that you are looking for is 2313. This will be the water gauge plus the fittings you will need. The chrome bezel will be a snap on that comes with the gauge.
