Hi is it true that I can calibrate this speedo to read in KPH by calibrating it over 2 kilometers instead of 2 miles and it will read in KPH regardless of the MPH sticker on the dial? I am using the Autometer pulse sender to suit a ford.

Hello Porro, thank you for contacting us. That is correct. If you follow the calibration procedure and drive 2 km for the calibration, the speedometer will basically read as a km/h speedometer.

Thank you for your question. Yes, this speedometer can be calibrated to work with almost all speed sensors and gear ratios. Just drive the two mile calibration drive and it will set itself to work.

The Sport Comp II In-Dash 5” Tachometer photos show them with both silver and black bezels. Is this great looking Auto Meter Tach available with the black bezel ? Thank you.

Hi Dan, thank you for the question. The darker bezel is actually a nighttime representation of the gauge at night. Sport Comp II features the silver bezel. However, if you give us a call at 866-248-6356, we can quote you on a special order for black bezels. There is an additional fee and extra lead time associated with the special order, but we can give you those details when you call.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, 3689 is not available in a metric version. #3680-M would be the closest alternative.
