will this work for a 95 gt mustang 145ohms full 22ohms empty?

Thank you for the question. Your factory sender should read 158 ohms full and 16 ohms empty. The 4718 is the gauge that is designed for your Mustang's factory sender. There will likely be some tolerance in your sender, but if you install our gauge and it never quite reads full and never quite reaches empty, that would be indicative of the readings you experienced and would point towards a sender issue.

Hi there, thank you for connecting with us. Since 1989 is right at the transition period for Ford Fuel Level senders, we'd recommend testing yours to be sure. Officially, we do recognize 1989 as the model year Ford switched to the 16-158 ohms sender, but we would always recommend checking to be certain in this situation.
