The Manual for the 5257 states that the system can be extended 75 feet. How should this be done?

When looking at the instructions you can see on the image for page 3 that you can extend the wiring after the shunt going to the module.

If the module cannot be installed within 10 feet of the probe. Can the probe wires be extended using GXL wire?

Will this with work a Cobalt or Ultra-lite digital readout gauge? They have a 10 pin connector, but they do not have an incandescent backlite which is defines compatibility, can you help?
