Why does Autometer offer an Invision unit for a Monte Carlo and fail to offer one for the far more famous 1984-1987 Buick Turbo Buick Turbo Regal?

Those cars are not more “famous” And there are a lot more Monte Carlo‘s, Malibu and El Camino Models on the road… Turbo, reals and grand nationals are rare in comparison, so it only makes sense from a business standpoint to accommodate the majority first

will this fit a 85 cutlass

Thank you for your question. This kit is only designed to fit 78-87 Monte Carlo, 78-87 El Camino, and 78-83 Malibu. The only option we have for a Cutlass would be our universal kit which is part number 7000. With the universal kit you would need to build a way to mount it in the dash.

What about 1990 S-10 Blazers?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately at this time we do not offer a direct fit Invision dash for a 1990 S-10. You could start with our Universal Panel part number 7000, but you would need to fabricate a way to mount it in dash. Please give our tech support team a call if we can be of more assistance.

The 7005 does not ship with a speed sensor. You would need either a VSS in your transmission or our GPS module 5289 for it to detect speed.

Thomas From AutoMeter · 2 years ago
The InVision Dash will only be able to have the Speedo, Tach, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, Fuel, and Voltmeter. There is no way to add gauges to this dash. We have 4 screens available for customizing the look, but no more after that.
