Transmission fluid temperature is the single biggest contributing factor to the lifespan of your automatic transmission. Having an accurate, realtime measurement allows you to know when to downshift or when to take your foot out of it. Whether you’re towing or simply trying to harness the power of a built or boosted motor, AutoMeter’s Digital Stepper Motor Trans Temp Gauge will give you the most accurate possible measurement for the exact temp of your trans fluid. AutoMeter’s most advanced 1/8” NPT temperature transducer is included as well as a direct plug in wiring harness for ease of installation. An optional trans cooler line manifold is available for another easy installation option.

Do you have a picture or a pin out for the plug in the back of this gauge? The red and yellow wires from the sensor got pulled out of mine and I need to know where they go.

Hi Kyle, thank you so much for contacting us. A transmission temp gauge like this actually does not use red and yellow wires for the sensor. You can see the exact pinout here:

With that said, these gauges are very commonly paired with pyrometers, which do use red and yellow wires for the sender. Assuming that may be what you meant, here is the pinout for that gauge:

How deep is the gauge? From the back of bezel to end of longest extreme. Thank you.

Hi Buzz, thank you for the question. 2-9/16" is the total depth from back of the bezel to the very end of the mounting studs. For cup mounts and pod mounts, where the mounting studs won't be used, they can be cut off to allow for approximately 2" of clearance.
