BMW 5W40 Oil Change Kit - Liqui Moly 11427583220KT2

Engine oil is a critical lifeline to your BMW's engine. Clean engine oil not only helps improve performance but also helps reduce wear. BMW stipulates that the oil should be changed every 15,000 miles. We and other enthusiasts disagree with this philosophy. Instead, we recommend oil changes every 5,000 miles to prevent sludge buildup and ensure the engine has fresh oil.

Please note: N63 engines require the drain plug to be torqued to 40Nm while N63T and N63R engines require the drain plug to be torqued to 25Nm. In addition, the oil filter cap is torqued to 30Nm, then released torque with a counterclockwise 180-degree turn, and final torque to 40Nm. The oil filter cap drain plug must be torqued to 10Nm. Engine longevity & optimal performance
