Tensioner for A/C, power steering, and alternator
If your BMW's belt is squeaking it could be due to a worn-out belt. However, under other circumstances, it could be the belt tensioner that has begun to fail. If the belt tensioner is not properly holding tension then the belt will not be secured properly over the other pulley. Replacing your BMW's tensioner can usually fix the problem.
Torque spec for the included bolt is 40 Nm (30 ft-lbs).
Please note: The cap for the pulley where the mounting bolt goes through is not included. Generally, it is reused from the existing tensioner. If you would like to order a new one please see p/n 11281435114.
