BMW Cooling System Upgrade Kit - MMRADE3692KT

E36's are renowned for many positive things. What they are generally not positively renowned for is robust cooling system components. Between radiator end tank failures and a horrendous power robbing viscous fan clutches the overall system is lacking in many critical areas.

This kit changes out the factory style radiator for an all aluminum single pass Mishimoto radiator which by default will be more durable long term especially under extreme heating and cooling cycle conditions.

In addition this kit removes the stock viscous fan clutch assembly and the front auxiliary fan by replacing it with a 12V 16" 1850 CFM electric fan which will pull more air through the radiator core and more efficiently as well. The fan comes mounted to a bracket designed to provide adequate spacing between the engine and radiator.

This kit bypasses and eliminates the stock fan switch by replacing it with a standalone fan controller which features an adjustable fan activation range between 150°F to 240°F giving you full control of how you would like your new fan to function vs relying on the standard dual temp switch. In addition you can choose to wire this fan controller up to a manual override switch or to the A/C compressor clutch (your choice).

While you're in there upgrading the system FCP Euro has also included an aluminum thermostat housing, 88C thermostat, and Mishimoto silicone radiator hoses to completely overhaul all weak areas in the stock cooling system. This kit is ideal for street driven or track driven cars.
