A fender liner is an inner shield made of plastic, rubber, or thin sheet metal located within the wheel well of a vehicle. It acts as a protective barrier between the wheel and the fender, preventing dirt, rocks, water, and debris from damaging the fender, engine bay, and other essential components. Fender liners are especially important for protecting vulnerable parts, such as the radiator, hoses, electrical components, and suspension, from moisture and road debris.
