Aero over aesthetic. Function over form. Purpose over compromise.
What is ARD?
ARD (ADRO Racing Division) is ADRO's motorsport engineering program, built for drivers who demand more from their car on track. Every ARD component is developed the same way motorsport aerodynamics are: CFD simulation and track tested before anything reaches a customer. Scott, ADRO's Head of Aerodynamics, brings an F1 development background to every ARD project. The G87 M2 ARD Aero Package is one of the first full systems to come out of that program.
The AT-M3 Motorsport Wing
The M2 is already a serious performance car. The AT-M3 is for drivers who want to extract more of that performance on track, with rear downforce that is measurable, adjustable, and developed to the same standard as the rest of the ARD lineup.
How It Works
The AT-M3 generates meaningful rear downforce at speed, increasing rear grip and stability through high-speed corners and under hard braking. The wide 1650mm span maximizes the wing's effective working area, producing a broad, even downforce distribution across the rear axle rather than concentrating load at the mounting points.
Eight degrees of angle adjustability lets you dial in the balance for your specific use case. Less angle for longer, faster circuits where drag costs lap time. More angle for technical tracks where rear stability and corner entry confidence matter more. The adjustment range is wide enough to cover everything from track days to time attack competition.
As part of the complete ARD Aero Package, the system generates 2555N (574 lbs) of downforce at 180 km/h, a 1254% increase over the M2's stock 189N, with a gain of +2366N (532 lbs).
Material
The AT-M3 is produced in prepreg carbon fiber. Prepreg uses resin pre-impregnated into the fiber under controlled conditions, meaning resin distribution is precise and consistent throughout the part. The result is a lighter, stiffer wing with no soft spots or resin-rich areas that can delaminate under sustained aerodynamic load.
For a wing operating at track speeds, stiffness is not just a durability consideration. A mainplate that flexes under load changes its effective angle of attack, which changes the downforce it produces and the balance it delivers to the driver. Prepreg holds geometry precisely across a full session, in heat and under sustained loading, so the wing behaves consistently from the first lap to the last.
Fitment
Designed for the G87 BMW M2. Compatible with the stock trunk. Modifications to the trunk lid required.
