Product Information
This starter motor kit features a brand new Bosch 140mm starter motor with replacement starter motor bolts and intake manifold gaskets. This kit has the basics needed for removing the intake manifold and replacing the starter motor on an M52/S52 engine that has retained the stock M52/S52 intake manifold.
Starter motors are what get your engine running. In order for an engine to start it must be rotating. The starter motor spins the engine via the flywheel or flex plate while fuel is injected into the engine. Starter motors are very robust and have a long service life but can fail. A failed starter motor will prevent you from being able to start your car.
