A complete gasket kit to refresh your S62 powered M5 or Z8 VANOS system, one kit will repair one VANOS unit
VANOS is the variable valve timing system equipped on most modern BMW engines. This system uses solenoids and high oil pressure to control the variable valve timign system by either retarding or advancing engine timing.
A faulty VANOS unit can cause poor engine performance, rough idle, and low fuel economy. Typically it is the seals inside the VANOS unit that need to be replaced with age. Doing this repair will restore power and performance to your BMW instantly.
