An Engine Coolant Outlet Flange is a component of a vehicle's cooling system that connects the engine's coolant passages to the radiator and the rest of the cooling system. It serves as an interface for coolant to exit the engine after it has circulated through the engine block and absorbed heat. The flange typically includes ports for hoses, fittings, or sensors that monitor coolant temperature or flow.

• Coolant Leaks: One of the most common symptoms of a failing coolant outlet flange is visible coolant leaks. These leaks may appear around the flange or hose connections and can lead to a low coolant level in the system, increasing the risk of engine overheating
• Overheating Engine: If the coolant outlet flange is compromised and not allowing proper coolant flow, it can result in insufficient cooling. This can cause the engine to overheat, leading to potential engine damage or failure
• Corrosion or Damage: Inspecting the flange may reveal signs of corrosion, cracks, or physical damage. Corrosion can weaken the flange, leading to leaks, while cracks can allow coolant to escape and disrupt the cooling system
