Genuine BMW gasket sealant for engine crankcase, bedplate, flanges, and oil pan - especially for S65, S55, N55, N54, B58, S58, B46, N20, N52, and N51 engines. Made by Dow Corning and replaces previous Loctite brand engine sealant.

Replaces, or is an alternative to, BMW part numbers 07 58 0 397 777, 83190439030, 83197536051, 83197515682, 83190404514, 83190404517, 83197515683, 193140.

With this sealant the crankcase and bedplate are prepped before assembly by applying a 1mm bead of sealant to the crankcase. No syringes or injector nozzles are required. Note: BMW's instructions assume the engine is removed, stripped down, and upside down on a stand. Ensure the surfaces are extremely clean and no old sealant residue remains. Primer is no longer required.
