Volvo has changed the design of this Filter, so it is now necessary to replace the Hold Down Bracket W/ Clamp, the part number for this "New" HoldDown Bracket W/ Clamp is 30792720 and must be ordered separately if needed.

MAHLE fuel filters use high-quality filter media reliably removing contaminants, protecting the engine and assures efficient operation of the vehicle.

MAHLE fuel filters are made from high-grade cellulose fibers impregnated with special resins. These materials are treated in a special production process: special pre-warming prepares the paper for the embossing of vertical ridges. Afterwards, the paper is folded according to requirements. Then the impregnation is cured to make the paper mechanically stable and to make it resistant to chemical and thermal influences.

The result: filters with stable pleat geometry that prevent the feared forming of blocks under high load and ensure that fuel can flow freely through the paper at all times. The filters can remove particles as small as 1 micron, depending on the requirements, and offer safe conditions for highest contaminant elimination.

The required constant fuel supply is achieved with pressure regulation and recirculation of the surplus fuel from the injection pump to the tank. Pulsation damping compensates for the pressure fluctuations caused by the fuel pump.

Mahle fuel filters comply with the correspondingly high safety standards of the automobile manufacturers and ensure secure sealing even in the event of accidents.

MAHLE Group products sold and marketed by MAHLE and their affiliates are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for two (2) years from the date of purchase, 200,000 miles, or 7,200 hours, whichever occurs first*. Clevite ‘Premium Plus’ parts are warranted for three years from the date of purchase, 300,000 miles, or 10,800 hours, whichever occurs first.

MAHLE is not responsible for failures resulting from owner, operator or third party abuse or neglect including, but not limited to engine operation without adequate lubricant or coolant, over or under-fueling, over-speeding, lack of proper maintenance to cooling, lubrication or air intake systems, improper storage, starting, warm-up, run-in or shutdown procedures or the continued operation of an engine after the first sign of a malfunction.

MAHLE is not responsible for failures resulting from improper installation or repair procedures, alteration or the misapplication of parts, or use in engines modified for competition or levels of performance beyond the engine manufacturers original specifications.
