Manley I.D. spring locators are CNC machined from high quality 8620 material to yield an excellent surface finish while maintaining a tight tolerance of +/- .002". Heat treated and black oxide finished.

As with all other areas in the valvetrain, the area where the spring sits also takes a beating. The old standard shims and/or seats simply will not hold up to the extreme pressures and high rpm found in todays performance engines. Manley Performance valve spring locators solve this problem and eliminate failures.
