One of the best things you can do for your Mini Cooper is regular oil change services. We at FCP recommend changing your engine oil every 5,000 miles for the best long term protection and service life of your engine. Changing oil yourself can save you a large amount of money over bringing your Mini to the dealer or having a specialist shop do the work for you.
To remove the oil filter cap you must use a 36mm, 6 point socket. If you do not have one already you can order it from FCP Euro, part number CTA-2574.
