PowerFlex Porsche Cayenne V8 (Typ 9PA) Torque Arm Bushing

This urethane bushing replaces the original rubber bushing in the torque arm mount. The original rubber mount is built for absolute noise and vibration suppression. The soft rubber soaks up NVH to make the engine smoother and quieter. But as the miles accumulate the rubber bushings take a beating and lead to excessive vibration, especially from the Cayenne V8's torque output.

Unlike other urethane bushings using only one or two urethane grades, Powerflex design engineers choose the correct hardness to allow for the specific movement or rigidity required for each component while minimizing unwanted NVH. Bushings are typically produced in one of three grades – Yellow (70-80A, approximately 25% stiffer than stock), Purple (80-90A, approximately 30% stiffer than stock), and Black (90-95A, approximately 80% stiffer than stock).

This urethane bushing is slightly stiffer than stock rubber and will not deflect as much. Not only is the mount stiffer for better strength but urethane is very resistant to chemicals including oil and grease - it won't break down and deteriorate like rubber will. And a limited lifetime warranty means you'll likely never have to pay for another bushing ever again
