Product Information
The crankcase breather system (also known as the air/oil separator) is a maintenance item that requires replacement every 30,000 miles or on an as needed basis if failure occurs sooner. Failure can include a vacuum leak through cracked hoses or from a cracked air-oil separator. The air-oil separator can fail causing oil to be drawn into the intake and fouling the spark plugs. Additionally increased crankcase pressure from a failed air-oil separator can create gasket leaks.
Preventative maintenance is the best option and we have a created a comprehensive kit to include everything you will need when performing this repair. It's recommended to change the engine oil at this time as well.
