TJ25FDR DUAL RATE-LONG TRAVEL COIL SPRINGS (Front Pair) for the 1997-2006 Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited ensure superb highway ride quality and performance on any terrain both on-road or for off-road. The 1st spring rate offers an exceptional highway ride and as the coils expand when off-roading during articulation the suspension droops to keep the tires in contact with the ground much longer than a single rate coil. This results in a smoother ride while maintaining the coil in the upper coil bucket even at full droop. The 2nd rate (lower coils) only engage after compression past the 1st rate. This second rate allows consistent control and stability during body roll and heavy off-road suspension movement.
