Torque Solution Boost Pill for Mitsubishi EVO X / Ralliart 2008-2015 has been designed to stabilize the boost in vehicles equipped with SST transmissions. Due to the clutch engagement in the SST transmission, the operation of the boost control can be at times, inconsistent which amounts to unwanted boost spikes and erratic boost control. Some of this has to do with the ECU to solenoid limiting you from hitting target boost. Our boost pill helps solve this issue with a simple, yet affordable fix.

Details
  • - Locate the vacuum hose between the turbo and boost control solenoid.
    - Near the turbo you will see a vacuum T.
    - On the turbo side of the T you will notice a clamp in the middle of the hose.
    - The clamp is the location of the OEM pill, which keeps it in place.
    - Remove this short hose between the T and Turbo.
    - Remove the clamp holding the OEM pill in place.
    - Use a small screw driver or pick to push out the OEM pill.
    - Now push the Torque Solution pill into the place the OEM pill was located.
    - Reinstall the boost pill clamp to keep the pill secure.
    - Reinstall the hose back in between the vacuum T and Turbo.
    - IMPORTANT: Load your new tune file to accommodate the boost changes caused by the new boost pill.
