Volvo Control Arm Kit - Meyle HD 30760586KT3

This comprehensive 6-piece kit includes two control arms and two ball joints with hardware, to refresh and stabilize the front end of your P2 S60/V70. It also comes with new Genuine Volvo stabilizer links to finish the job. The control arms come with bushings pre-installed. Ball joints come with all required hardware including a new axle nut complete with fresh thread locker.

If you have a 2007, there were two possible styles of control arms installed on the vehicle, aluminum (silver) or steel (black painted). Please see vehicle fitment notes for chassis splits, and double check with visual inspection before ordering.

Special Tools

Due to the design of the ball joint and steering knuckle, special tool [CTA-4019] is highly recommended.

Mounting Bolts

Volvo uses one-time-use stretch bolts to fasten the lower control arms as well as the CV axle bolt. It is required to buy new hardware when removing these components.

Torque Specs

Link arm front in sub-frame, front mounting (M12):

• 1st step, 65 Nm.
• 2nd step, 105º

Link arm front in sub-frame, rear mounting (M14):  

• 1st step, 105 Nm.
• 2nd step, 180º

Bolt drive shaft - wheel hub/bearing:

• Stage 1: 35 Nm
• Stage 2: 90°

Choose Your Steering Rack Stops:

In conjunction with this control arm, it is highly recommended to replace the steering rack stops for to avoid having the tires rub the fender at max steering angle. There are three steering rack stops available, and correspond with the size (width) of the tires mounted on the vehicle.

• For tire sizes 195/65 and 205/55 use 31262495 (Blue).
• For tire size 215/55 use 31262496 (White/Natural).
• For tire sizes 235/45, 225/45, 235/40 use 31262497 (Black).
