Complete, fully calibrated supercharging systems are available for the 2007-2008 4.6L 3V Mustang GT, featuring the V-2 or V-3 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger with air-to-water charge cooler.
The complete high output system will boost your stock 2007-2008 Mustang GT to 462 HP and 419 lb/ft torque with 10 PSI from the V-2 or V-3 Si-Trim supercharger at the factory redline.
The 4.6L 3V Mustang GT systems utilize Vortech's V-2 or V-3 superchargers. Continued development in Vortech's Lab resulted in the Si-Trim Model. With its state of the art centrifugal compressor stage the Si-Trim literally blows away the competition. Industry leading 78% adiabatic efficiency [SAE J1723 standard] means less heat is being generated, drive power is reduced and more net power is produced. Less heat also means better durability. Also, Vortech's supercharger systems weigh less than half of the low-tech competing brands.
Superior Technology

Vortech supercharger systems are a great value. Dollar for dollar, Vortech systems deliver more horsepower than virtually any other method of upgrade. Also, driven normally, gas mileage often increases rather than decreases.
Available Supercharger Finishes
Multiple kit finishes available. For that fully integrated look, S197 Mustang systems are available in factory matching black finish. Satin and Polished units are also available.
Complete System Included Components and Features
- V-2 or V-3 Si-Trim compressor with 3.80" drive pulley (Standard Output), 3.60" (High Output)
- Manifold boost pressure: 8 psi (Standard Output), 10 psi (High Output) @ redline on stock engine
- Supplied Diablosport In-Tune handheld programmer re-flashes the ECM with a safe, custom Vortech calibration for 91-octane fuel.
- Fuel system upgrade includes high flow replacement fuel injectors, and 255lph "in-tank" fuel pump with harness; used in conjunction with the OEM in-tank pump to provide a dual-pump configuration.
- Air inlet assembly includes:
- - High-flow roto-molded ducting
- - Silicone sleeves with stainless steel clamps
- - 98mm MAF meter housing
- - High flow, conical-style air filter with heat shield
- - Diablosport MAF interface adapter for extended meter range
- Engine coolant pipes and hose assembly
- Billet aluminum supercharger mounting bracket assembly includes idlers, drive belt and all mounting hardware.
- Integrated air/water, dual pass charge cooler configuration allows for additional horsepower gains and features maintenance-free design (High Output Systems)
Oil feed and drain assemblies (V-2 models) deliver the best possible lubrication and cooling for the supercharger, even under sustained boost conditions

Installation time is rated at approximately 8-10 hours (Std. Output) or 12-14 hours (High Output).

Complete systems are 50-State Emissions Legal for some 4.6L Mustangs per California Air Resources Board (CARB).
Not Smog Legal for Some 2005 Models
- These systems are not smog legal in California for 2005 model year vehicles built on or before April 30, 2005. For these particular vehicles, these systems are legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used, or registered or licensed for use, upon a highway (off-road use only). The manufacture, sale, offer for sale, or installation of this product may also be illegal under the federal clean air act (42 U.S.C. § 7522(A)(3)).
2005-2006 Systems CARB Legal
- 2005 model year vehicles built after April 30th, 2005, and all 2006 model year vehicles are 50-State Emissions Legal per California Air Resources Board (CARB). CARB Executive Order # D-213-27
2007 Systems No Longer Smog Legal
- 2007 Supercharging Systems produced after June 12, 2008 are not exempt. These systems are legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used, or registered or licensed for use, upon a highway (off-road use only). The manufacture, sale, offer for sale, or installation of this product may also be illegal under the federal clean air act (42 U.S.C. § 7522(A)(3)).

Optional Parts/Accessories8-Rib Drive Upgrade
4FU116-001 - The 8-Rib pulley upgrade is a must for any high-output tuner kit. The extra two ribs allow 33% more drive power to be transmitted to the supercharger and also reduce slip that reduces power and shortens belt life.

- Fuel Pump Voltage Booster
5A102-038 - The Maxflow® Plug-and-Play Voltage Booster Assembly increases voltage to the fuel pump for increased flow to the injectors. Included harness plugs directly into factory connector for simple, "plug-and-play" installation.
Water Tank Upgrade For Air-to-Water Charge Cooler
8N105-120 - Larger, 2 gallon water tank reservoir for air-to-water charge cooled setups. Recommended for competition use and/or open track racing, this upgraded water tank mounts in the factory battery tray location, and increases reservoir fluid volume by over 50%.
Bypass Valve Upgrades
Maxflow Race Bypass Valves - For applications running over 10 PSI, a larger Bypass Valve is required. This Race Bypass Valve features a 1.75" oval port discharge, and can be re-circulated back to the air inlet with minor modifications.
Bypass Splitter - Used in conjunction with the Race Bypass Valve on applications that require re-circulation, this 1.75" - 2x 1.0" bypass splitter allow you to run the larger Race Bypass Valve with only minor modification.
Weld-On Flange - Weld-on flange used to mount Maxflow Race Bypass Valve to existing discharge ducting.
