The clutch master cylinder is a critical component of a hydraulic clutch system in manual transmission vehicles. It is responsible for converting the mechanical force applied by the driver’s foot on the clutch pedal into hydraulic pressure, which then engages or disengages the clutch. The master cylinder is connected to the clutch pedal and the slave cylinder via a hydraulic line.

• Difficulty Engaging or Disengaging the Clutch: A failing master cylinder can make it hard to press the clutch pedal down or may result in the clutch not fully disengaging, causing difficulty in shifting gears
• Spongy or Soft Clutch Pedal: If there are air bubbles in the hydraulic system due to a leak or failure, the clutch pedal may feel spongy or soft, requiring more effort to engage the clutch
• Fluid Leaks: Visible leaks around the clutch master cylinder or along the hydraulic line can indicate a failure. This may be noticed as fluid pooling under the vehicle or around the clutch pedal area

VNE GmbH was founded in 2001 by Volker Natorp in Hamburg, Germany. Volker has a long, storied history in the automotive field. He began his career in the 1970s working for Wulf Gaertner and in the 1990s eventually branched out on his own to start his own sales repping agency. With continuous growth, the decision was made to solely focus on developing VNE Automotive and, in 2014, the focus became reality with the commissioning of a new warehouse and office space. Today, VNE Automotive prides itself on never having followed the aftermarket trend. VNE Automotive operates in a highly specialized, niche product sector, by only offering OEM automotive spare parts to more than 50 countries worldwide. This is evident from the unique, and sometimes hard to find, product groups spanning engine management, body electrical, and brake systems.
